Day 2 · City tour
Old Tbilisi and Mtskheta
Take the cable car up to Narikala Fortress, see the old sulphur bath houses, then drive out to Mtskheta, Georgia’s old capital.

Day 3 · Mountains
Kazbegi and Gudauri snow
Drive up the Georgian Military Road past Ananuri Fortress to the ski slopes of Gudauri, then on to Gergeti Trinity Church under Mount Kazbek.

Shopping and the flight back
A free morning for souvenirs, then your driver takes you to the airport for the short flight home.

Will I definitely see snow?
Snow is most reliable up in the mountains at Gudauri and Kazbegi between December and March. Tbilisi itself rarely gets much, which is why the mountain day is part of the plan.
