The plan
Land overnight with a guaranteed early check-in. From 10 AM: Panfilov Park, the wooden Zenkov Cathedral, Republic Square, the Green Bazaar, the Rahat chocolate shop, Arbat street and the views from Kok Tobe hill.
The Valley of Castles in Charyn Canyon, often called the Grand Canyon of Central Asia, then Kolsai Lake among the pine forests. Buggy rides, boating and horse riding are optional.
The high-altitude Medeu ice rink, the Medeu to Shymbulak gondola across the Tian Shan, the Talgar Pass viewpoint and a warm drink in a mountain cafe.
Transfer to Almaty airport for the early morning flight, landing in Sharjah at 06:25 on Sunday.
