Day 2 · City tour
The old city and Highland Park
Walk through Icherisheher, the old walled city, with the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, then head up to Highland Park for the view over the bay.

Day 3 · Mountains
A day in the snow
Drive out to the mountains at Shahdag or Gabala for cable cars, fresh air and, from December to March, snow underfoot.

Will I definitely see snow?
Snow is most reliable up in the mountains at Shahdag and Gabala between December and March. Baku itself rarely gets much, which is why the mountain day is part of the plan.
